L’AFNUM est profondément engagée à rendre l’espace numérique plus sûr pour tous, et en particulier pour les enfants. Nous soutenons fermement l’objectif ambitieux de la Commission européenne de renforcer la protection des enfants, et de consolider la coopération entre les autorités nationales.
C’est la raison pour laquelle nous pensons que certaines améliorations doivent être apportées à cette proposition de règlement, pour permettre la mise en place d’un cadre législatif proportionnel, résilient et cohérent face aux évolutions technologiques.
Pour ce faire, nous appelons les décideurs politiques à :
- Défendre les droits à la vie privée et à la confidentialité des communications par la protection spécifique du chiffrement de bout en bout
- S’assurer que les injonctions de détection soient une mesure de dernier recours
- Limiter les injonctions de détection aux fournisseurs en capacité d’agir.
